Financial Analyst

About the CompanyThis position is responsible for processing payments, and related activities, for term deals and projects in development. Also, the financial analyst is tasked with maintaining financial data and metadata in SAP financial system.ResponsibilitiesEnter contractual obligations in financial system (SAP) and maintain project metadataProcess Cast & Crew payroll for Animation division, and Film Division when neededCalculate and process monthly term deal producer overhead payments in accordance with contractual termsSubmit set-up and termination paperwork for term deal employees; compile bi-weekly timecards; process expense reportsLiaise with payees during vendor set-up processReview and process invoices relating to development projects and term dealsPrepare cost-to-date summary with interest calculation, as requested by business usersAssist in preparation of supporting schedules for commitment management reportingManage travel credit card payment and monthly reconciliationPrepare journal entriesAssist in managing calendar for head of Development FinanceOther Ad-hoc reporting as required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance Required SkillsProficient skills in Excel (Microsoft Office Suite)2 years Finance/Accounting experience Preferred SkillsSAP and or Oracle experience preferred but not requiredGood analytical skills; detail orientedStrong time management, organizational, and communication skills
