In addition, we also provide administrative personnel with experience in technical engineering and scientific environments.Job DescriptionJob Title: 1st Shift Supervisor**Local Candidates Only**1st Shift Supervisor leads a manufacturing functional team that fully utilizes resources to meet the scheduled activities of the Manufacturing Group. Supervises the daily shift activities in their assigned functional areas and works with team members to cultivate a winning manufacturing attitude and creative work environment. Manages the training, development and performance of their team members.Key responsibilities/essential functions include:Supervise approximately 22 Production Associates, 3 Maintenance Repair personnel and 2 Electricians. Monitor and improve productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner. Track and report metrics in functional area to include labor hour consumption, work order completion, inventory accuracy, throughput, capacity and customer complaints. Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals. Establish team goals that meet or exceed established quality standards. Develop and create training plans to maximize workforce capability.
