Critical Care/Trauma Physician

We are seeking a Trauma Surgeon for a fulltime academic associate level position in the Department of Surgery, Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery Section located in the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia. The successful candidate will provide Trauma surgery services in our academic healthcare institution and provide educational opportunities for medical students and residents and will be joining a group of eight (8) surgeons at an ACS verified Level One Center with approximately 3,000 cases per year. Scholarly activities are highly encouraged. Job Requirements by the time of appointment are:MD, DO degree or foreign equivalent degree from an accredited programBoard certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and board certification or board eligibility in trauma/surgical critical care required.
