Sr. Help Desk EngineerMid-Town Manhattan, NY (100% onsite)3-6 Month contractJob Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Help Desk Engineer (Contractor) to assist with the technology consolidation of multiple entities into a unified environment. This is a hands-on, 100% onsite role in Mid-Town Manhattan, ideal for someone experienced with desktop buildouts, profile migration, endpoint management, and project-based user support.Key Responsibilities: Build, configure, and deploy Windows desktops and laptops for end users across multiple organizationsCreate and migrate user profiles as part of the entity consolidation projectUpdate, test, and troubleshoot desktop software and operating systemsEnsure smooth onboarding of users and devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows AutopilotProvide Tier 2/3 support for desktop hardware/software issues, escalating as neededCollaborate with project managers and technical leads to execute migration tasks according to project timelinesDocument processes, configurations, and solutions as needed for project consistency and knowledge sharingSupport end users in person and respond to service requests efficiently and professionallyRequired Skills & Experience: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot (required)Proven ability to build and deploy Windows desktops and manage user profilesStrong desktop support skills for both hardware and software in enterprise environmentsExperience with desktop software installations, updates, and troubleshootingExperience supporting migrations or consolidations of IT environments is highly desiredExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven track record of professionalism and reliability in fast-paced settingsPreferred Qualifications: Prior experience in IT consolidation, merger, or acquisition projectsFamiliarity with user data migration tools and scripting a plus (e.g., PowerShell)Certifications such as Microsoft 365: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100, MD-101)Powered by JazzHR
