Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Dickinson, ND Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,200 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and experience with trauma patients. - Candidates with facial hair must pass fit testing requirements. Description: The unit has 4 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3 depending on acuity. Common diagnoses include DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, and cardiac conditions. RNs are required to titrate drips and to manage equipment such as vents and high flow nasal cannula. RNs must read and interpret telemetry strips. Scheduling is managed by the director, and flexibility is needed for weekends and holidays. Attributes for success include coachability, motivation, the ability to identify unsafe situations, and teamwork. No nurse aids or patient care techs are available in this unit.
