Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: Shift: 12H Nights Total Weekly Hours: 36 Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Experience Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred - Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred (Level I Trauma Center experience) - EPIC experience: Required - Specialization in the care of stable trauma patients Certifications and Licensure: - BLS required - ACLS preferred - License must be in hand upon submission Skills and Technical Requirements: - Use of Rapid Response Teams, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral line care and management: Required - Trauma surgery experience including high volume patient populations such as exploratory laps, hemi-colectomies, mastectomies, lap cholecystectomies, and eye surgeries - Care for patients undergoing lower volume surgeries such as GYN procedures (hysterectomy, myomectomy, etc.) - Starting and maintaining IVs, Pain assessment & management, Medication reconciliation, Obtain Operative/Procedural Consent, Isolation Precautions/PPE - Skills in managing special equipment including Lift equipment, Wound Vacs, and Coude catheter (can be trained) - Proficiency in managing specific medical procedures and patient care practices, including Cholecystectomy, Colon surgery, Hysterectomy, Mastectomy, Central line care/management, PICC line care and management, Narcotics/Opioid Analgesics, Breast augmentation, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Pre-op Assessment, Pre-op Education, Review History and Physical, Straight urinary catheterization female, Straight urinary catheterization male, Wound Vacs, PCA pump management, ENT, General, Gyn, Ortho, Dysrhythmia recognition/management Additional Requirements: - COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) - Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) - P/F Testing: Pass EKG exam during compliance with two attempts allowed.
