Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Strong experience in Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, and Robotics required License: GA or compact license required Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: - Strong Neurosurgery experience - Strong Surgical Oncology experience - Strong Robotics experience Description: Submission process includes interviews for all candidates. Call is required with 48-60 hours every 4-week period. Weekend call is required. Staff has the option to sign up for calls on their days off or on the days they work. It is rare that anyone is kept on call for the entire 12-hour shift. If deemed necessary to keep someone on call due to a staff member calling out, a discussion will take place with the individual. Staff will be offered the opportunity to leave early to rest if needed. On-call rooms are available for staff use while on call. This position requires a commitment for the entire duration of the assignment.
