Logistics CoordinatorSetting/Hours: 100% In-Office | Full-timeCompensation: $25/hourtrak group is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in Cincinnati to identify a Logistics Coordinator. This role puts you at the center of delivery operations—coordinating shipments, negotiating freight rates, building carrier partnerships, and driving performance metrics that directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate on-time delivery of products to internal and external customersSource spot market freight rates and maintain carrier routing guidesSupport onboarding of common carriers and freight brokersDevelop and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure best-in-class service and favorable freight ratesMaintain required carrier documentation including contracts, insurance, addendums, and tariffsTrack and communicate key KPIs including cost per liter, routing guide compliance, payload, and on-time pickupPartner with warehouse and shipping teams to eliminate missed pickups and control accessorial spendingEnsure customs documentation is complete and accurateQualifications:1+ year of logistics and transportation management experiencePost-secondary certificate in management, transport, or related fieldStrong customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet service objectivesKnowledge of relevant transportation industry laws and regulationsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic team environment with limited supervisionAbility to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environmentHazardous materials and CTPAT training (with or without formal certification)Position Details:Location: Cincinnati, OH 45229 (100% In-Office with potential hybrid after training period)Contract Length: Approximately 6 months with potential for extensionEmployment Type: ContractPay: $25/hourIf you're ready to take the next step in your logistics career with a growing organization, partner with trak group to explore this opportunity.Contact the job poster, Tyler Molihan, at tyler.molihan@thetrakgroup.com.About trak group:trak group is a Cincinnati-based staffing and recruiting firm with over 30 years of experience connecting job seekers to contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities across the Greater Cincinnati region.
