The business is highly profitable, growing fast, and in the early stages of building out its finance function. If you are looking for real ownership of the books and a direct line to leadership, this is a cant miss opportunity!Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations and serve as the on-site financial resource for the team Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports Maintain and reconcile the general ledger (cash, AR, inventory, fixed assets, AP, accrued liabilities) Month-end and year-end close Ensure timely billing and proper revenue recognition across the business Oversee and coordinate biweekly payroll, including prevailing wage compliance for applicable jobs Support the first external audit — help with documentation, inventory valuation, and coordination with auditors Identify and recommend process improvements as the back-office infrastructure is modernized Desired Skills And Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally from a CPA firm, construction or manufacturing environment
