Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Shared Services Director

Life-Science Innovations is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Shared Services Director to join our executive leadership team. This role provides overall financial leadership and oversees centralized shared services functions across our group of companies.The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic vision and operational execution, helping guide business growth while ensuring strong financial stewardship, risk management, and organizational alignment. This position plays a critical role in shaping long-term strategy and driving performance across finance, HR, IT, tax, and risk functions.Our goal at LSI is to provide tailored professional shared services to each of our customers, partnering with them to become an extension of their team. We hire technically passionate, positive, career-minded individuals who align with our core organizational values.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Financial Leadership & StrategyLead financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term business planningAdvise executive leadership on profitability, growth, capital allocation, and strategic initiativesOversee cash flow, banking relationships, financing, and debt complianceEvaluate acquisitions, investments, and business performance metricsPresent financial insights and recommendations to ownership and leadership teamsAccounting, Reporting & ComplianceOversee consolidated financial reporting across multiple entitiesEnsure accurate and timely financial statements, audits, tax coordination, and regulatory complianceMaintain strong internal controls, governance, and risk management practicesDrive financial systems improvements and reporting efficienciesShared Services LeadershipProvide strategic oversight for:Human Resources, including talent strategy, succession planning, compensation, and employee engagementInformation Technology, including ERP optimization, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and scalability initiativesRisk Management & Safety, including insurance, compliance, and enterprise risk mitigationTax strategy, compliance, and coordination with external advisorsLeadership & Organizational DevelopmentLead and develop high-performing teams across finance and shared services functionsFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementPartner cross-functionally to align shared services with organizational goalsThe ideal candidate will have the following educational and experience background:Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred10+ years of progressive financial leadership experienceExperience in multi-entity or operationally complex environments preferredStrong expertise in financial reporting, planning, treasury, tax, and risk managementProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational growthExcellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsCore Competencies: Strategic Financial LeadershipOperational & Business AcumenTeam Development & CollaborationRisk Management & Financial StewardshipContinuous Improvement MindsetHigh Integrity & Servant LeadershipOur Purpose is to Share Smarter, Serve Better - By providing tailored professional shared services, partnering with our customers to become an extension of their team.
