We specialize in sourcing, vetting, and placing high-performing remote professionals.Role SnapshotLocation: LATAM - Country (Remote) Schedule: Full-time | 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ETType: Independent ContractorPosition SummaryWe are hiring a Tech Pack Designer to support multiple product categories including soft home,hard home, sporting goods, and licensed home décor. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient sampling, development, and production execution.ResponsibilitiesConvert approved design concepts, CADs, and reference samples into complete, factory-ready tech packs.Prepare tech packs across soft home, hard home, sporting goods, outdoor products,games, and licensed home décor.Create detailed spec sheets including dimensions, materials, construction, color callouts, artwork placement, and hardware.Develop clear technical drawings and callouts to ensure accurate factory execution.Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Licensing teams to clarify intent and ensure brand compliance.Update tech packs based on sample feedback, revisions, and cost or material changes. Review samples against tech packs and flag discrepancies or execution issues.Communicate directly with overseas factories to answer technical questions and support Timelines.Ensure tech packs meet U.S. retailer requirements and mass-production standards.Maintain organized digital files and version control.Requirements (Must-Have)Bachelor's degree in industrial design, Product Design, Textile Design, Technical Design, Or equivalent experience.4-8 years of experience creating tech packs for consumer products.Experience across both soft goods and hard goods categoriesStrong understanding of materials, construction, and manufacturing processes. Experience working with overseas factories, preferably in AsiaFamiliarity with licensed products and brand guidelines is a plus.Experience supporting products for U.S. retailers.High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.Technical Skills (Required)Tech Pack Development: Proven track record converting CADs and samples into comprehensive tech packs.Cross-Category Expertise: Knowledge of soft goods (e.g., textiles) and hard goods (e.g, décor, outdoor products).Factory Communication: Experience managing technical queries with overseas manufacturers.Software: High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Tools & SystemsMicrosoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive)Time tracking: Hubstaff Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Why Join?Competitive pay in USD.100% remote — work from home or anywhere.Flexible time-off.Work with an international team.Learning opportunities.Be a member of an elite group of top talent.
