Location: Poughkeepsie, NYType: Full-TimePay Rate: $45,000 - $47,000Position OverviewThe Marketing Manager is a strategic and creative leader responsible for executing UWDOR’s integrated marketing and communications plan. This role focuses on driving donor acquisition, enhancing brand awareness, and managing day-to-day marketing operations. The ideal candidate is a data-driven storyteller who can manage multiple projects, from the annual workplace campaign to major community initiatives, with precision and passion.Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign & Project ManagementStrategic Execution: Lead the development and rollout of marketing collateral for annual campaigns, ensuring all materials (print and digital) resonate with both corporate partners and individual donors.Content Strategy: Oversee the editorial calendar to ensure a cohesive voice across the website, email newsletters (Constant Contact), and annual reports.Advertising: Manage local media relationships and coordinate paid advertising efforts (print, radio, and digital) to maximize community reach.Impact Storytelling & Brand IdentityBrand Authority: Act as the primary contact for United Way Worldwide branding, ensuring all sub-brands and initiatives are visually and tonally aligned.Public Relations: Draft press releases, coordinate media interviews, and maintain a robust media contact list to highlight UWDOR’s impact in Dutchess and Orange counties.Video & Multimedia: Lead the production of high-impact video content for events and digital campaigns, coordinating with external vendors or internal staff as needed.Digital Strategy & AnalyticsWebsite Oversight: Manage UWDOR’s website content (OneEach), ensuring information is current, SEO-optimized, and user-friendly for donors and those seeking help.Data Analysis: Utilize Google Analytics and social media insights to measure campaign ROI and provide quarterly reports to the Director of Marketing.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing or communications; nonprofit experience in the Hudson Valley is highly preferred.Leadership: Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion and provide guidance to junior staff or interns.Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
