Administrative Specialist Sr- Legal

This role plays a key part in supporting departmental operations by providing advanced administrative and secretarial support, as well as project coordination. The position works closely with multiple attorneys and regularly interacts with internal customers, including executive leadership, as well as external partner organizations. Responsibilities include managing a variety of administrative functions to help ensure the office runs smoothly, efficiently, and with a high level of professionalism.
TheAdministrative Specialist Senior- Legal will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the District, supporting daily operations while maintaining strict confidentiality and attention to detail.

Essential Functions
70% Administrative Support
Schedules, prioritizes, and coordinates administrative office support for meetings, events, or office services.
Provides customer support and specialized administrative support for multiple department professionals and the office at large.
Performs project management duties, including tracking progress, organizing records, drafting and managing agendas, and note-taking.
Manages the lifecycle of records and documentation, from designing and formatting complex original documents to maintaining databases and files.
Oversees office logistics and fiscal matters, including travel coordination, purchase orders, billing, and the continuous improvement of internal workflows.
Adheres to established policies while proactively identifying more efficient ways to work.
20% Communication
Acts as a primary resource for internal and external inquiries, providing detailed policy/program information, referring requests to the appropriate resource, or resolving issues as needed.
10% Other duties as assigned
