Responsibilities include maintaining attorney calendars, monitoring deadlines, organizing case files, and preparing legal documents for filing in both state and federal courts.The Legal Administrative Assistant will also assist with scheduling meetings, hearings, and other case-related activities while serving as a point of coordination between attorneys, clients, courts, and other parties involved in legal matters. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with billing support, expense processing, dictation, CLE tracking, and general administrative tasks to support the legal team.The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience in a legal administrative assistant or legal secretary positionWorking knowledge of litigation procedures and electronic court filing systems for state and Federal.Proficiency with Microsoft Word and OutlookStrong proofreading and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and demonstrate initiative when managing tasksPreferred ExperienceExperience supporting senior or partner-level attorneysBackground supporting litigation practices such as defense or commercial litigation
