Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinic TriageJob DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate Clinic Triage RN to join our Pain Department within the Interventional Pain Management team in Leawood, KS. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and is committed to improving the quality of life through comprehensive, non-pharmacological pain management. In this triage-focused role, you will manage phone triage by assessing patient concerns, providing clinical guidance, and coordinating care with providers.ResponsibilitiesManage phone triage by assessing patient concerns and providing clinical guidance.Coordinate care with providers to ensure comprehensive pain management.Support pre- and postoperative care, conducting follow-ups and educating patients.Manage prescriptions and prior authorizations efficiently.Document accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).Occasionally assist with in-clinic procedures.Ensure detailed documentation and recording in the EMR.Handle triage work, referrals, scheduling appointments, and sending prescription requests.Essential SkillsMust be a Registered Nurse (RN).Must have 2 years of substantial clinical nursing experience.Active applicable state licensure for MO and KS.Must hold a current BLS certification.Demonstrated track record in understanding and maintaining infection control, administering medication, health promotion, and maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a clinical office environment is desirable.Ability to speak and understand other languages is a plus.Pain management experience preferred but not mandatory.Must be tech-savvy as the role involves a lot of administrative work.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
