Longevity.PRIMARY FUNCTION:Grounds upkeep including mowing of the property, mulching, tree pruning and light tractor work.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Grass cutting and upkeep of groundsPerform landscaping and grounds maintenance needs including the use of applicable and necessary equipmentPerform other duties specified by the Facilities Supervisor, Director of Support Services, or CEOPerform other duties as requested or assignedQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GEDPrior experience in running and operating zero turn lawn mowers and small tractorValid Virginia driver’s license and a good driving recordPositive safety recordMust demonstrate sensitivity to Elk Hill’s service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristicsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Good general health with ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a timesMust be able to traverse property and access and navigate all areas of the facilities Must be able to access all parts of the company equipmentMust be able to work in various weather conditions and in various outdoor and indoor conditionsDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is at the forefront of what we do at Elk Hill, and we enforce respectful communication and cooperation between all.
