Summary:
Assist production on all equipment with electrical/electronic concerns while displaying and promoting a quality conscious attitude at all times.
Responsibilities:
Repair or replace defective electronic systems
Troubleshoot and repair of automation and industrial machinery
Responsible for general documentation (PM cards, life cycle documents).
Responsible for quality in production
Responsible for spare parts.
Provide and implement continuous improvement and cost saving ideas.
General Duties:
Handle appropriate paperwork in conjunction with latest quality standards
Assist production personnel in improving efficiency and productivity
Perform other duties as assigned.

Monitor housekeeping to assure a clean and safe work environment.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, or sitting for varying periods of time.
Stooping and bending is required.
Visual acuity is required.
Lifting of up to 60+ pounds is sometimes required.
Hand / eye coordination and manual dexterity is required.
Quality System:
Responsible for following the standards and guidelines of the latest quality system, including maintaining departmental records, participating in internal / external audits, and following quality procedures on a daily basis. Drives the initiative to strive for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Prefer to have Arburg machine experience.
Must have a good understanding of the injection molding business, 3 years minimum experience in the field
Must be able to troubleshoot, repair and read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints
Must possess ability in PLC troubleshooting and programming
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Should be a self-started with a strong desire to excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to allow interaction with employees, customers, vendors and management on a professional level.
