Business Development Manager – Freight ForwardingLocation: New York / New Jersey (Hybrid/Field-Based)Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 + Commission + BenefitsKey ResponsibilitiesIdentify, target, and win new business within key verticalsDevelop and execute a strategic sales plan for your territoryBuild and maintain strong relationships with shippers and key decision-makersActively sell a full suite of services including Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Ground Transportation, and Customs Brokerage solutionsPresent tailored, end-to-end supply chain solutions based on customer needsManage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closingCollaborate with operations and pricing teams to ensure competitive and efficient service deliveryMaintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and activity reporting via CRMRequirementsMinimum 2+ years of sales experience in freight forwarding / logisticsProven track record of winning new business (hunter mentality essential)Strong understanding of international freight (air and/or ocean preferred)Experience selling multimodal solutions and value-added services is highly desirableEstablished network within the NY/NJ market is advantageousExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsSelf-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independentlyWhat’s on OfferCompetitive base salary ($80k – $120k depending on experience)Attractive commission structuresOpportunity to join a growing and reputable logistics providerSupportive team environment with strong operational backingClear progression path within a dynamic organization
