Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

Hospitalist NP Opportunities with McLeod Health Coastal Region McLeod Health- Carolina Forest Myrtle Beach, SC APP Nocturnist Hospitalist McLeod Health Carolina Forest is seeking an experienced NP to join our Nocturnist Hospitalist team. This role provides comprehensive inpatient care overnight and requires a confident, independent clinician who collaborates well with physicians and the care team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. Highlights • Qualifications: NP; BLS & ACLS; minimum 3 years of inpatient experience • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, organized, and comfortable working independently • Practice Structure: Two physicians onsite at night; APP functions independently with nursing and clerical support • Schedule: Full-time (84 hours bi-weekly) 7 days on 7 days off, night shifts only, no call Responsibilities: o 100% inpatient care o Perform exams, manage admissions, and assess patient needs o Order and interpret diagnostic tests while developing and implementing care plans with supervising physicians o Coordinate discharges with case management o Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and staff Orientation: ~6 weeks of shadowing and training with an experienced APP kirstianna.mueller@mcleodhealth.org
