Executes payroll, reporting, auditing, and compliance management (tax, audit, data, reporting).Payroll Processing & AdministrationExecutes end-to-end biweekly payroll processing on a regular cycle ensuring timely and accurate payment to employeesReviews and validates payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, timekeeping, bonuses, and deductionsReconciles payroll prior to processing, identify discrepancies, and resolve issuesEnsures accurate calculation and remittance of taxes, garnishments, and other withholdingsManages off-cycle payrolls, adjustments, and corrections as neededPartners with Finance on payroll funding, general ledger postings, and account reconciliationsHRIS & Data ManagementMaintains and validates employee and payroll data within HRIS and payroll systemsSupports system updates, enhancements, and integrations related to payroll and HR processesInvestigates and resolves data discrepancies and system issues in collaboration with stakeholders and vendorsReporting & AnalyticsDevelops and delivers recurring and ad hoc HR and payroll reportsAnalyzes payroll and workforce data to identify trends, variances, and risksSupports leadership reporting needs related to compensation, headcount, and workforce planningPayroll Compliance & AuditingEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including wage and hour laws and tax requirementsPerforms routine audits of payroll transactions, system controls, and reporting outputsSupports internal and external audits by providing documentation and addressing inquiriesManages payroll tax processing through third party vendor.
