The OIG Policy and Strategic Initiatives team supports this mission by providing OIG staff with policy guidance, making policy and contract recommendations, and evaluating and recommending potential future work (e.g., audits, inspections, investigations, data reviews).We are seeking a thoughtful, curious intern to join the policy team for the 2026 summer semester. The internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience in policy research, critical thinking, data analysis and persuasive writing. The ideal candidate is a strong thinker and writer; is persistent, self-motivated and organized; and has a passion for public service.Essential Job Functions:Conducts policy research to inform future audits, inspections, investigations, and data reviews.
