Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a home health assignment in Michigan, requiring home health experience, a valid MI license, and a personal vehicle for daily use.Job Details• Home health setting covering Van Buren, Calhoun, and Kalamazoo counties,• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (5x8 hours), 40 hours per week,• Weekend rotation required approximately every 4-6 weeks,• No on-call or float requirements,Job Requirements• Active Michigan PT license required (license required if applicable),• Current BLS certification (AHA) required,• Home health experience required,• Valid Michigan driver's license, personal vehicle available for daily business use, and proof of auto insurance required,• Ability to conduct standardized assessments including range of motion, strength, and coordination testing,Additional Information• Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and administering medically prescribed physical therapy to improve function, restore mobility, relieve pain, and enhance patient independence,• Clinical duties include interpreting referrals, establishing functional baselines, setting patient care goals, and estimating length of treatment,• Participates in interdisciplinary team discussions, rounds, and clinics,• Provides patient and family/community education as part of the treatment planning process,• May design and fabricate splints and other assistive devices as needed,• Documentation responsibilities include timely charting of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress in the electronic health record,
