They are seeking a part-time, hybrid Event Coordinator to support a series of high-touch gatherings.This is a short-term contract to start, with strong potential to extend if the engagement is successful. The role is hybrid, with one day per week onsite in Washington, DC.The Event Coordinator will support end-to-end event logistics, ensuring smooth execution and a seamless experience for participants. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams independently, with prior hands-on event coordination experience.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain event planning timelines, checklists, and tracking toolsCoordinate venue logistics and external vendors, including catering, AV, photography, and rental partnersManage attendee lists, registration updates, and pre-event communicationsSupport seating plans, dietary requirements, and overall attendee logisticsCreate and update run-of-show documents and assist with production coordinationOversee printed materials, signage, and event collateralLead vendor load-in and support onsite setup and event executionTrack invoices and assist with post-event financial reconciliationQualifications2-4+ years of experience in event coordination or event productionProven experience working with vendors, catering, and onsite logisticsStrong organizational, communication, and project management skillsHigh attention to detail with consistent follow-throughProficiency in Google Workspace; experience with Cvent is a plusAbility to work one day per week onsite in Washington, DCInterested candidates are encouraged to apply to learn more. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
