Job Title: Vascular Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must be able to scrub and circulate complex vascular cases. Experience with endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, cold leg, thrombectomy, amputation, carotid, and AV fistula procedures is required. Description: The Vascular Registered Nurse will work three 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Shifts will be scheduled according to unit needs from Monday to Friday. On-call duty is required for 5 to 8 calls per month, including some weekends. Holiday call may also be required. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular surgery are preferred. Experience in scrubbing and circulating complex vascular cases is essential. BLS and ACLS certifications must be current and from the American Heart Association. A radiation badge will be provided by the agency. Candidates should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Travelers must provide all requested time off at the time of submission, as late requests will not be accepted. Previous staff must have been separated from the system for one year before returning as travelers. Candidates with a pending South Carolina RN license may be considered if proof of application is provided.
