GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Saint Louis, MO 63103Pay: $15-$23/hr (Weekly Pay, based on experience)Schedule: Monday-FridayStatus: Contract‐to‐HireWe're hiring a dependable General Maintenance Technician to support daily operations and keep our community's buildings, grounds, and amenities in top condition. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, reliability, and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs across the propertyReplace light bulbs, check smoke detectors, and maintain emergency lightingAssist with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasksMaintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, stairwells, and building exteriorsSupport grounds upkeep: remove debris, clean sidewalks/parking areas, assist with landscapingPrepare and clean vacant units for new residentsHandle trash removal and maintain dumpster/trash chute areasAssist with snow removal when neededReport safety hazards, damage, or unusual activityRequirements1-3 years of general maintenance, janitorial, or related experienceAbility to work independently and follow instructionsComfortable working indoors/outdoors; able to lift up to 75 lbsKnowledge of safe chemical handling and basic tools/equipmentDependable, punctual, and safety‐focusedAbout BGSFBGSF is a leading national staffing partner specializing in property management.
