GI Physician for Medical Center in TX Job# 7041 FN Work collaboratively with the current general surgeons and assist with reestablishing our GI service line. The incoming GI will be the primary provider for scopes within the community. Hospital employed position covering one hospital. Primarily an adult and geriatric patient base. No clinic call requirements. Hospitalists will admit patients as needed. 10 days/month including one weekend/month hospital call. Dedicated clinic and surgery days, which will be determined by the oncoming physician. ERCP is not required. The ideal physician will be comfortable working in a solo setting and enjoys living and practicing in a rural community. Accepts J1 visa candidates.Generous compensation package offered to include base salary guarantee, wRVU bonus, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, student loan repayment assistance, along with stipends for early commitment while in training.
