Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience License: State or Multi-State/Compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The position involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week. The nurse will be accountable for the care and management of patients during labor and delivery. Weekends are required every other week. The nurse must be available for on-call shifts, with a requirement of two 12-hour shifts in a six-week period. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The role requires strong skills, including the management of high-risk deliveries. The nurse will assist with both vaginal deliveries and C-sections. Experience with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic, is a necessity. Candidates must have current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Additional certifications in AWHONN and NRP are also required. A strong understanding of maternity protocols and patient education is essential. Candidates should be prepared to handle emergency situations competently.
