The position involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week. The nurse will be accountable for the care and management of patients during labor and delivery. Weekends are required every other week. The nurse must be available for on-call shifts, with a requirement of two 12-hour shifts in a six-week period. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The role requires strong skills, including the management of high-risk deliveries. The nurse will assist with both vaginal deliveries and C-sections. Experience with electronic charting systems, specifically Epic, is a necessity. Candidates must have current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Additional certifications in AWHONN and NRP are also required. A strong understanding of maternity protocols and patient education is essential. Candidates should be prepared to handle emergency situations competently.
