Job Opportunity: National Account Manager (Furniture Manufacturer)Location: Atlanta, GA (10% Travel)Reporting to: VP of Business DevelopmentI am currently partnering with a dynamic, minority-owned global furniture manufacturer to find a driven National Account Manager. This company is experiencing high growth and partners with some of the largest big-box retailers in North America.We are specifically looking for candidates with a strong background in the furniture or home goods space who have experience managing major retail accounts (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair, or similar large-scale retailers).The RoleThis is a highly strategic and operational role where you will serve as the primary customer-facing contact. You will bridge the gap between sales strategy, inventory management, and data analysis to drive growth and anticipate future demand.Key ResponsibilitiesRetail Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with merchandising units, inventory coordinators, and key account stakeholders at major big-box retailers.Data & Inventory Strategy: Analyze POS data, historical sales, and inventory levels to optimize stock mix across in-store, special order, and e-commerce segments.Line Reviews & Presentations: Lead the planning of line reviews, including market overviews, competitive shop analysis, and program recommendations.Global Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with an international, Asia-based team to execute client initiatives, including direct import supply chain processes, packaging enhancements, and online content.Financial Oversight: Proactively manage and resolve defectives, chargebacks, and promotional sales trackers.What You BringExperience: 5–10 years in sales or account management, with at least 3 years in a senior role managing major strategic accounts (furniture/home goods manufacturing experience highly preferred).Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of big-box retail operations; e-commerce and omnichannel strategy experience is a major plus.Analytical Rigor: Advanced skills in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) with a proven ability to turn data into actionable sales and inventory trends.Mindset: A proactive, "roll up your sleeves" problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and changing market.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.What’s OfferedCompetitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.A collaborative, safe, and inclusive company culture with global manufacturing resources.
