Join our team today and help us build something great!Essential Job FunctionsGenerate and manage service work order invoicing using RoofLink and ComputerEaseCoordinate with Estimating and Sales to set up new projects per established processesManage accounts receivable, including billing, payment application, and collectionsContact delinquent customers, resolve billing issues, and follow up on past-due balancesIssue and distribute monthly AR statements and apply interest on overdue invoicesTrack projects through closeout in accordance with company proceduresAccurately record all payments and coordinate lien waivers with Accounts PayableMaintain confidentiality of customer information and support accounting projects as neededMinimum Education And Experience3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable (construction/AIA billing, collections, and general billing) requiredPrevious bookkeeping experience preferredNotary certification preferredHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferredRequired Skills And AbilitiesProficient with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and accounting software (ComputerEase a plus)Familiar with construction billing forms, payment application processes, and operations (preferred)Experience with construction systems such as ComputerEase, RoofLink, and/or BuilderTrend (a plus)Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and detail‑orientedDemonstrated ability to deliver friendly, accurate, and timely customer serviceStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsProfessional, respectful, and positive representative of the company at all timesEfficient, improvement‑minded, and committed to company standards and policiesOther Skills/AbilitiesComputer and typing skillsAccuracy and attention to detailActs in a stewardship capacity for the Company, works as a functional member of the teamDeadline-orientedSelf-motivated with a willingness to learnFlexibility and adaptable to changeContinue to obtain education and training to increase job knowledge and job skillsWork Environment/Physical RequirementsPass initial drug test and participate in random drug test programUse of eyes for reviewing computer screens, paperwork, fine printPrimarily indoor office environmentAbility to lift and carry up to 15lbsAbility to sit for prolonged periods of time, working at a computerBenefitsHealth, dental, vision, life insurancePaid time off401(k) with company matchPaid parental leaveWork Location / ScheduleIn Person: Kansas City, MO 64108: Relocate before starting work (Required)Day Shift: Mon-FriJR & Co is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
