The brand is available in top doors worldwide and specialty boutiques, as well as online and at the flagship store on Madison Avenue.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Technical Designer at Ramy Brook located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Technical Designer will be responsible for daily tasks related to garment construction, fitting, pattern making, and architecture. The role offers flexibility for some remote work.Responsibilities:Participate as needed in proto and production fittings, ensuring garments are on spec and production standards are being met. This participation could involve taking the lead in the fitting or taking notes for a fellow TD.Efficiently communicate all fit comments and corrections/instructions directly with vendor partners overseas.Help to prep samples for upcoming fittings as samples arrive.Must be comfortable with follow up/daily correspondence via email with factories when questions arise.Work with the production team to ensure priorities are followed and all deadlines are met.QualificationsAttention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsProficiency in Excel, Adobe and other software programs to create and modify Tech Packs.Experience in communicating clearly with factory partners to ensure top quality standards are met for all styles.Comfortable in a fast-paced environment in a rapidly growing and expanding company.
