HR Generalist - Westchester County (Strong Work Life Balance) - $80-110k+BA privately held, owner-led operating company is seeking a polished and detail-oriented HR Generalist to oversee the day-to-day Human Resources function. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all HR, Benefits, and Payroll matters, supporting a team of nearly 100 employees.This is a highly visible role requiring strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with discretion in a traditional, professional environment. Core Responsibilities:Human ResourcesOversee all core HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and offboardingPartner with leadership on performance management processes and employee development initiativesEnsure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsMaintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbookServe as a trusted resource for employees across HR-related mattersBenefits AdministrationAct as the primary liaison with the firm’s third-party benefits brokerManage open enrollment processes and ongoing benefits administrationSupport employees with benefits-related questions and issue resolutionEnsure accuracy and compliance of all benefits programsPayrollProcess payroll for all employees, maintaining accurate payroll records and employee dataCoordinate with internal stakeholders and external providers while ensuring compliance with all payroll-related regulations and reporting requirementsQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field strongly preferredSHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) highly preferred4–7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist capacityHands-on experience with payroll processing requiredExperience managing benefits programs and working with brokersStrong understanding of HR compliance and employment lawAbility to work on-site five days per week in Westchester County, during standard business hours Soft Skills & Profile:Highly polished, professional demeanor with strong communication skillsSerious-minded, mature approach to work and confidentialityDetail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skillsAbility to operate independently while maintaining a collaborative mindsetComfortable in a structured, traditional office environmentBase Salary: $80-110k plus bonus and benefits The above salary range represents Advice's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity and other non-cash incentives.
