Typically, employees in this position work 7 days then have 2 days off. Then the following week, work 7 days and have 1 day off. Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?ROLE SUMMARY:At the Jacksonville Brewery, the Utilities Technician is a critical role responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of Brewery wide industrial utility supply systems such as ammonia refrigeration systems; glycol storage and distribution system, industrial HVAC system using lithium chloride dehumidification, compressed air systems; process and potable water systems, chlorine and chlorine dioxide disinfection system, steam generation, and CO2 collection, liquefaction, vaporization, and distribution. If you are looking for a new challenge, come join our team today!JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate Brewery Utilities systems including: steam, CO2 collection, ammonia and glycol refrigeration, dehumidification, compressed air and incoming water & wastewater treatmentActive and certified participant in the brewery's HAZWOPER emergency response team. Willingness to don respirator and PPE up to OSHA level A as requiredPerform chemical treatment for boiler water, cooling tower water, and pasteurizer waterResponsible for process management, basic maintenance tasks, lubrication, housekeeping, and sanitationDocument and respond to all activities that occur during shift of responsibilityRespond to customer department requests for assistance with Utility system optimization and/or isolationInterpretation of and familiarization with piping and instrumentation drawings (P and IDs)Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and general corrective maintenance to increase equipment reliability and up-timeAnalyze process data to drive equipment efficiencyLead and participate in continuous process improvement activities inside and outside the department (PDCA, 5 Why, Lean Six Sigma)This is a 24/7/365 facility - the position involves shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidaysJOB QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED requiredFamiliarity with automated process control systemsRequired experience in steam boiler OR refrigerationExperience with water tube medium pressure boilers; industrial ammonia refrigeration systems; compressed air systems; cooling tower systems; CO2 gas collection and liquefaction systemsAbility perform mechanical work including valve maintenance/replacement, belt replacement, motor/gearbox replacement, and lubrication routesStrong computer skills required; Microsoft Office Excel proficiency as well as Computerized MaintenanceAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, troubleshoot problems, identify root causes (e.g. six sigma analysis) and propose and implement remediesPrior process safety management (PSM) experience preferredPrior HVACR experience preferredWHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH:At Anheuser-Busch, our purpose is to create a future with more cheers.
