Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, flexible Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Location: Health Park Medical Center, 9981 S HealthPark Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33908 Contract Type: Travel – 13 Weeks (Deferred Schedule) Schedule Shift Type: 12-hour Day Shifts Shift Timing: Friday 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Call Requirements: One backup call per month; please discuss with manager during interview Floating: Required – travelers may float to other sister campuses as needed Key Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room for adult and pediatric patients Support surgeries across multiple specialties, including: ENT, General Surgery, Vascular & Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Orthopedic, Spine, and Neurosurgery Maintain sterile field and infection control standards Assist surgical teams with pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care Respond to clinical changes and emergencies during procedures Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient flow Function as core staff within unit culture, integrating seamlessly with permanent staff Qualifications Active RN license Minimum 2 years OR experience required Pediatrics OR experience required BLS required , CNOR preferred Prior travel experience highly preferred Degree accreditation must be on profile or a minimum of 5 years of OR experience Additional Notes Radius Rule: 50 miles from permanent address • Medical & Health Insurance Benefits from First Day for All Clinical and Patient-Facing Employees. • 401K Plan. •"Your Way is Paid" – we pay for ALL employment requirements, onboarding, physicals, titers, etc. • $300 - $1000 referral bonus.
