We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)Pay:$15.16 - $17.00 per hourGeneral Purpose:Performs all recreation duties and activities related to facility operations, including youth programs, daily activity programs, holidays, special events, and conference activities.Essential Duties:Maintain cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily maintenance proceduresMaintain up-to-date knowledge of department programs, events, and activities; answer guest questions regarding such programsRecord all cash, checks, and charges based on established cash control proceduresMaintain understanding of operating procedures for pool, bikes, boats, and fitness equipmentComplete checklists for opening, closing, and daily proceduresTake direction from the Facility Coordinator, Special Event and Youth Coordinator, and Conference Recreation CoordinatorAssist in the implementation of programs, youth programs, special events, and conference recreation eventsProvide a safe environment within facilities and activitiesProcess recreation reservations as neededIncorporate safe work practices in job performanceRegular and reliable attendancePerform other duties as requiredPhysical Demands:Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, and hearsRegularly reaches with hands and arms; may taste or smellOccasionally walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawlsOccasionally lifts up to 50 poundsEnvironment/Noise:Frequently works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather)Regularly works in outdoor weather conditionsOccasionally works near moving mechanical parts, in high or precarious places, and may come into contact with toxic or caustic chemicalsNoise level is moderateCertificates/Licenses:CPR and First Aid Certification.Education/Experience:No Prior Experience Or Training Required.Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; manuals for equipment may be in English).This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.Benefits & Other Compensation:This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Time Off – Sick leave and leaves of absence, in accordance withColorado (CO) – Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces ActEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.About Troon:Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world’s largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
