Head of Supply Chain
Job Summary:
A reputable manufacturing company in Fort Worth is currently looking for a dedicated Supply Chain leader to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the supply chain process, including inventory management, logistics, process improvement, and supply chain management. The Supply Chain Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing operations and ensuring efficient supply chain processes.
Duties:
- Implement lean principles and Kaizen methodologies to streamline supply chain operations
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory
- Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fabricate effective supply chain strategies
- Conduct root cause analysis to address supply chain issues promptly
- Utilize Oracle EBS or similar systems to track and manage supply chain activities effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on inventory control and process optimization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
- Proficiency in Oracle EBS or similar supply chain management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners
