We’re seeking a Director, Systems Engineering Program Management to lead complex hardware programs from concept through high-volume production. You’ll drive alignment across engineering, manufacturing, and executive teams to deliver high-quality products on time and at target cost. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring readiness across global operations and supporting seamless collaboration between contract manufacturers and local teams.What You’ll Be Doing:Lead end-to-end program management for multi-disciplinary hardware systems—from design and validation through ramp and mass productionDevelop and execute strategic program plans that align with business objectives, capacity goals, and long-term product roadmapsCoordinate with global contract manufacturers and internal teams to ensure product readiness, build execution, and quality performanceIntegrate DFM, quality, and supply chain inputs early in the development cycle to drive manufacturability and cost efficiencyManage schedules, milestones, and build readiness across global teams, ensuring smooth prototype-to-production transitionsIdentify and mitigate program risks, track KPIs for cost, quality, and schedule, and report status to executive stakeholdersFacilitate cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve critical issuesWhat You Have:10+ years of program management experience in hardware or systems engineering, with a focus on high-volume productionProven success leading global programs with contract manufacturers from NPI through productionStrong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to align technical programs to business objectivesDeep understanding of manufacturing processes, industrialisation strategies, and lifecycle management for complex systemsExpertise in DFM, configuration control, FACA, and root cause analysisExperience managing RFQ, supplier selection, and basic commercial negotiationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global and executive audiencesProficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similarBackground in automotive, LiDAR, or advanced manufacturing preferredBS/MS in Engineering or related field required; PMP or equivalent preferred What's in it for youBe part of a fast paced and dynamic teamVery competitive compensation and meaningful stock grantsExceptional benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and moreUnlimited PTO: We care about results, not punching timecardsSalary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges are subject to change in the future. Depending on the position offered, equity, bonus, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, pre-tax commuter and health care/dependent care accounts, 401k plan, life and disability benefits, flexible time off, paid parental leave, and 11 paid holidays annually.
