Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting Patient population is primarily medical/surgical, with additional cases including observation, respiratory conditions, palliative/end-of-life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetes management, and surgical patients Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Every other weekend (EOW) required; holiday coverage as needed Floating required across multiple facilities within the health system if needed Epic EMR experience is mandatory Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Epic EMR experience required Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Unit is posted as MS/Tele due to a mandatory EKG exam requirement for all RNs, though the primary patient population is medical/surgical All RNs must pass a pass/fail EKG exam during onboarding — two attempts are allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility Previous Charge RN experience is preferred First-time travelers are welcome to apply Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences American Traveler Job ID P-688878.
