Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,180 to $1,380 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel PTA at a skilled nursing facility in Albuquerque, NM. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Active New Mexico PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred. Experience with transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred. Ability to work Monday through Friday and coordinate with an on-site therapy team. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift: Days. Shift hours: 0800-1630. Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Scheduled hours per week: 35. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Candidate may be required to float to other facility locations as needed.
