Millwood Hospital is a Joint Commission accredited hospital with a solid reputation in the community and is part of one of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, Universal Health Services, Inc.For more information, please visit us at https://millwoodhospital.com/Position Summary: Lead Inpatient TherapistThe Lead Inpatient Therapist takes on a leadership role to performs social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.Work HoursFulltime, 40 hours/week. Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm.Must be available to attend the Full Hospital Orientations: Week 1: MONDAY -FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM)Benefit Highlights:Challenging and rewarding work environmentCompetitive Compensation & Generous Paid Time OffExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plans401(K) with company match and discounted stock planCareer development opportunities within UHS and its 300+ Subsidiaries.QualificationsRequirementsEDUCATION: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field; licensure or certification as required by state regulations.EXPERIENCE: Prefer at least 3 years' experience in outpatient mental health settings with familiarity in hospital or clinic environments.LICENSURE: LMSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent licensure required.Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Verbal De-escalation prior to on-the-job training.Strong knowledge of behavioral health modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and addiction counseling.Competency in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage patients effectively across telehealth platforms when applicable.Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and experience maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.WHAT DO OUR CURRENT EMPLOYEES VALUE AT MILLWOOD AND UHS?An environment that puts patient care first.
