Job Description Job Title: CRT – ECMO Specialist (RRT) | Night Shift | ContractLocation: Minneapolis, MNCompensation:Local Pay: $2,139/weekTravel Pay: $2,542/weekSchedule & Assignment DetailsShift: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)Schedule: 3 &times; 12-hour shifts per weekRotation: Occasional day shift rotation (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)Weekend Requirement: Every other weekendContract Duration: 13 weeksPosition Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – ECMO Specialist to join a leading acute care facility. This role is ideal for experienced respiratory professionals with strong ECMO management expertise and a background in adult critical care.The position requires advanced clinical judgment, hands-on ventilator management, and the ability to care for critically ill patients requiring ECMO support.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and manage ECMO systems for critically ill patientsProvide advanced respiratory care in adult critical care settingsAssist with airway management, including intubation support and suctioningManage ventilators (BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV) and troubleshoot alarmsPerform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and interpretationAdminister respiratory medications and therapiesSupport procedures such as bronchoscopy and pulmonary hygieneAssist with intra- and inter-departmental patient transportDeliver oxygen therapies (HFNC, trach collar, T-piece, etc.)Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical recordsFloat within scope based on facility needsRequired QualificationsCRT or RRT credential requiredMinimum 2 years of RRT experienceMinimum 1 year of ECMO Specialist experience (required)Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificationsActive state license (or must be active prior to start)Strong background in adult critical careProficiency in ABG interpretation and ventilator managementPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience with ARDS, ECMO, pneumonia, aspiration, and COVID patientsTracheostomy care and fresh trach managementAdvanced airway and suctioning techniquesFamiliarity with aerosol and nebulizer delivery systemsExperience with inhaled medications (e.g., Albuterol, Nitric Oxide, Pulmicort, Tobramycin)For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
