Assistant Home Infusion Pharmacy Director - Mesa, Arizona

Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An experienced pharmacy leader is sought to direct pharmacy operations specializing in acute infusion services. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to manage a skilled team providing sterile compounding and medication preparation with a focus on intravenous therapies.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including compounding and dispensing IV hydration, TPNs, antibiotics, with growth plans toward IVIG therapies.Supervise and develop six pharmacists, 35 pharmacy technicians, and warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to policies, licensing, and safety regulations.Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy on staffing, training, performance evaluations, and recruitment.Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, as well as accreditation standards.Manage inventory control and resolve patient concerns promptly and professionally.Assume Pharmacist in Charge duties as required and participate in continuous performance improvement initiatives.Desired Qualifications:Pharmacy degree with active Arizona Board of Pharmacy licensure.Minimum of one year supervisory experience within hospital, clinic, or home infusion settings.Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, including USP 797 standards.Proficiency with computer applications, including spreadsheets.Excellent organizational, decision-making, and team leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and foster a collaborative work environment.Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.This role utilizes CareTend software and offers a confidential search environment.
