Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work in a high-volume emergency department with over 100,000 annual visits • Patient ratios: typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds • Every other weekend schedule requirement • Must be flexible to work in all areas of the emergency department • No floating outside of ED but must float to all sections within the emergency department • Work with 101-bed emergency department including pediatric emergency room • Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS • ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire • Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in emergency department setting • Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience preferred • Use Baxter pumps and GE monitors • Document using Cerner system • Navy scrubs required • Must demonstrate AIDET, respectful behavior, and patient experience standards • Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback required • Teamwork mentality essential Facility: This flagship healthcare facility is an 815-bed hospital that has been recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades from 2020-2023, placing it in the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for clinical quality.
