Nurse Practitioner | Oncology - General/Other Location: Massachusetts Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Our client in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 70-day assignment, commencing May 4, 2026. This vital role will involve shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, where you will manage new patient consults and follow-ups, primarily handling oncology and some hematology cases within their outpatient clinic and infusion center. Responsibilities and Duties Perform new patient consults Conduct follow-up appointments Work within an outpatient clinic and infusion center Manage a case breakdown of 90% Oncology and 10% Hematology Oversee chemotherapy supervision and orders Perform central line management (e.g., Port-a-Cath, PICC line care) Manage oncologic emergencies (e.g., tumor lysis syndrome, spinal cord compression, neutropenic fever) Additional Information EMR System: Epic Unit beds: 7 Shift hours: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
