Required Skills: Current NBCRNA board certification Valid Pennsylvania state licensure ACLS certification Proficiency in general anesthesia administration, regional anesthesia (spinals, epidurals), and MAC Expertise in airway management, including difficult airway techniques and intubation Ventilator management and IV sedation skills Experience with pain management techniques Ability to perform pre-anesthesia assessment and post-anesthesia care Competence in managing cases independently from pre-op to PACU Familiarity with Epic EMR system Strong decision-making skills during intraoperative emergencies Nice to Have Skills: Experience in managing anesthesia complications such as malignant hyperthermia and hypotension Advanced airway rescue capabilities Ability to quickly learn and adapt to facility protocols Experience with Cesarean sections and obstetric anesthesia Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring in complex cases Preferred Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice Prior experience working in hospital or surgical center settings Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively Other Requirements: Pennsylvania state license and DEA registration Willingness to obtain necessary credentials within approximately 60 days Ability to work flexible day shifts, primarily from 7:00 AM with varying end times Local candidates preferred; travel and lodging expenses may be reimbursed if applicable Vaccinations as mandated by healthcare regulations This position offers an attractive hourly pay rate of $232.80, with compensation at $315 per hour and 1.5x overtime and holiday pay.
