Title: Lead Business Data AnalystLocation: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)Full-time RequirementThey must have great communication skills and work with SQL and Python. This person will be helping our client with a migration into Snowflake.Responsibilities:Data Validation & Migration Oversight: Lead and manage the validation activities for data assets being migrated, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with defined business and technical requirements.Translate & Execute Client Requirements: Understand client business and data requirements and convert them into clear, actionable, and executable validation plans for the offshore team.Lead & Mentor Offshore Team: Oversee and coordinate an offshore team of 3–6 team members, providing guidance, prioritization, and support to ensure successful delivery of validation activities and project milestones.Client Coordination & Status Reporting: Act as a key point of contact for clients by sharing regular updates on validation progress, issues, risks, and resolution plans.Quality Assurance & Data Integrity: Implement validation checks, review processes, and testing strategies to ensure high-quality and reliable migrated data assets.Drive Innovative Validation Strategies: Ideate and implement new data validation approaches, automation opportunities, and process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy across migration initiatives.Qualifications:Experience4+ years in data management, data analytics, or data engineering field—with a proven track record in team leadership (managing teams of 3+ members).Educational BackgroundBachelor's degree from Tier I/II institutions; Master's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or another relevant discipline is highly desirable.Technical Skills:RequiredProficiency in Advanced SQL for data processing and analysisDesirableExperience with data integration, ETL processes, and analytics tools (Airflow, dbt)DesirableFamiliarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker)DesirableFamiliarity with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex data issues and ensure high data quality and compliance.CommunicationExcellent verbal and written skills for clearly summarizing technical insights and actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
