As a Tasting Room Hospitality Sales Associate, your primary responsibility is to ensure that guests have the best possible experience. You are expected to build strong relationships with customers that promote sales and brand loyalty. Your role involves providing top-notch customer service by striking the perfect balance between education and fun.
Demonstrate professionalism

Educating the guest about the brands passions
Encourage customers to buy wine and join the wine clubs and promote the benefits
Acquire and maintain knowledge about wines and Potcake dogs
Be able to detect corked/oxidized wine
Be genuinely enthusiastic to describe information about our wines, vineyards, and winemaking history
Properly handle and plate food upon request for simple food options
Pour wine samples, wine glass pours, and beer from the draft
Accurately and quickly handle routine POS transactions, including operating cash register and accounting of daily sales; processing returns, discounts, club sign-ups, etc.
Restock and inventory wines along with other items that need to be replenished/reordered
Perform Opening and Closing Procedures that include typical housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness of the tasting room
Be available to assist with on-site and off-site private events
REQUIREMENTS
Need a food handler's permit
Good oral and written communication skills
Good customer relations skills
Computer literate
Professional demeanor
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Able to work in a team environment
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Willingness to assist with on-site and off-site private events
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 21 per week
