Please do not contact any internal member of our company to discuss the position or to solicit candidates. **Position Summary: The Project Controls Administrator is responsible for managing and controlling contractual, financial, and documentation aspects of electrical construction projects. This role plays a critical part in contract and scope management, ensuring that design changes, additional work, costs, progress billing, and project records are accurately tracked and properly administered. The position supports project leadership in protecting contractual scope, controlling costs, and responding to schedule impacts and claims.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Contract & Scope Management (Primary Responsibility)Manage and control electrical contract scope, ensuring all work aligns with contractual requirementsTrack scope changes and identify out-of-scope work requiring formal approvalSupport contract compliance and coordination with project management and clientsDesign Change (VO) & Additional Work ManagementManage design changes, variations, and change orders (VO) related to electrical scopePrepare, track, and maintain documentation for additional work and scope adjustmentsCoordinate with engineering, field teams, and clients to ensure changes are properly approved and recordedCost & Budget Control (High Precision)Track and manage electrical construction costs and job cost breakdownsMonitor labor, material, and subcontractor costs against budgetSupport detailed cost analysis and reporting to project managementProgress Billing & Financial CloseoutManage progress billing (pay applications) and monthly quantity trackingSupport final account settlement and project closeout activitiesCoordinate AP/AR processes with accounting teams and vendorsSchedule Impact & Claim SupportTrack schedule impacts related to design changes and scope growthSupport documentation for delay analysis and claim preparationAssist project leadership in responding to time extensions and claimsDocument Control & Turnover ManagementManage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, VO logs, cost records, and correspondenceControl shared folders and ensure document version accuracySupport turnover packages, including as-built documents, reports, and final deliverablesCoordinate information flow between field teams, project management, accounting, and clientsEnsure all records are accurate, traceable, and audit-readyFollow all company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirementsSkills and Abilities: Strong understanding of contract and scope management in construction projectsAbility to manage design changes, variations, and additional work accuratelyHigh attention to detail in cost control, progress billing, and financial trackingAbility to analyze schedule impacts and support delay and claim documentationStrong document control and turnover management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management platformsStrong organizational and time management skillsEffective communication and coordination with field teams, management, and clientsEducation and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferredExperience in construction project controls, contract administration, or cost managementStrong understanding of electrical construction workflows and terminology preferredExperience with scope control, change orders, cost tracking, and progress billingProficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management platformsStrong analytical, organizational, and documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracyStrong communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholdersMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPhysical Requirements / Work Environment: Ability to work in an office and construction site environmentAbility to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periodsAbility to occasionally lift up to 20 poundsAbility to visit active construction sites as requiredHanwha Convergence is proud to be an at-will Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination against race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender perception or identity, national origin, age, marital status, pregnancy, citizenship, disability, protected veteran status and any other classification protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
