This is a full-time, in-office position focused on representing governmental entities in matters involving ad valorem taxation, civil litigation, collections, and related proceedings.The ideal candidate will have strong courtroom experience, a solid understanding of property tax law, and a demonstrated background in government receivables collections.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle civil litigation matters from inception through trialManage collections for government receivables, including delinquent ad valorem taxesOversee and prosecute property foreclosure actions in the municipal sectorDraft and argue motions and pleadingsManage appellate processes, including briefing and oral argumentCoordinate with municipal clients and government officialsMaintain compliance with applicable state and local laws governing tax collectionQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing with the State Bar of [Insert State]Minimum 3 years of experience in collections and handling ad valorem tax casesDemonstrated civil litigation and trial experienceExperience in property foreclosure proceedingsFamiliarity with appellate proceduresStrong legal research, writing, and advocacy skillsExcellent organizational and case management abilitiesPreferred QualificationsPrior experience representing municipalities or governmental entitiesExperience handling high-volume collection docketsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceBenefits package including
