This position aligns goals and outcomes under the five pillars of people, quality, growth, service, and finance. It assures that the business objectives of the assigned clinical service lines are met through proper direction of all fiscal, material, technological, and human resources.Coaches/mentors subordinate and peer clinical leaders in techniques and methods that drive business growth, enhance employee and physician relationships, and provide excellent clinical outcomes. Develops, directs, and implements a comprehensive strategic business plan to increase market share and manage performance and profitability targets. Ensures adequate resources are available to implement strategies/decisions; strengthens physician relations; participates in pricing, contracting, and marketing decisions; and meets targets for financial, quality, and customer service performance indicators. Remains accountable for the principles of excellence and modeling and holds others accountable to Covenant Health’s Standards and Behaviors.Directs operations through two or more subordinate supervisory levels with several subdivisions at each level. Programs are usually complex and integrated with and/or interdependent upon other operational or functional units within the organization, requiring constant attention to extensive formal coordination, clearances, and procedural controls.Works effectively with peer group; leaders of the various corporate support functions such as finance, human resources, marketing, physician services, planning, clinical effectiveness, etc.; physicians and physician leaders both at the facility and corporate levels; and with various other internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities
Has the ability to manage multiple cost centers and has familiarity with both capital and operational budgets.
Has knowledge of regulatory and operational standards applicable to clinical service lines.
Has knowledge of principles of business administration including methods/techniques used in program management and development, strategic planning, organization, financial, and human resources reporting.
Possesses the ability to analyze and integrate information from a variety of sources to detect trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships.
Displays a keen sense of priority, relevance, and significance in creating viable options for addressing problems and opportunities and achieving desired outcomes.
Uses necessary and appropriate influencing, negotiation, and conflict-resolution techniques to gain support for actions from others.
Presents ideas effectively orally and in written form to a diverse audience.
Applies appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to influence, inspire, motivate, and guide individuals toward goal achievement.

Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Minimum Education:
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority. Master’s Degree clinical or business field preferred.Minimum Experience:
Eight (8) years of experience with a Master’s Degree or ten (10) or more years of experience and currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree program.Licensure Requirement:
Must have and maintain a valid RN license with State of TN.
